限定詞｜指示の this, that

this（こと）と that（あの）

1. What do you think about this bag?
2. Whoose is that red sports car over there?

「指す」＿それが this（この）と that（あの）。this は距離があるものを指します。指す対象が複数の場合には these, those を使います。

1. Hey, check out these gorgeous earrings.
2. Those guys talking to Maria look a bit suspicious, don't you think?

単独で使う this, that

1. This is a really nice apartment.
2. Didn't you know that?

ほかの多くの限定詞同様 this, that も単独で「これ・あれ」と指すことができます。
